- The first step is to make sure our hair is brushed free of any knots and tangles.
- Step 2, we will take a hair tie and secure our hair in either a high or low ponytail. We are going with a classy low ponytail for today!
- Now that we have our ponytail secure, let’s move on to step 3! We will take our ponytail extensions and insert the clip at the top of our ponytail and right at the middle. The clip placement should be between the back of our head and the hair tie, not after the hair tie.
- Step 4, Let’s take the side hair strand of the ponytail extensions and wrap it tightly around the base of the ponytail, covering over our hair tie completely. The velcro material on the ponytail extensions will help keep them in place.
- Step 5: Secure the loose end of the wrapped hair piece with a bobby pin and add a little hair spray for an additional hold. If your ponytail feels loose, you can go ahead and add more bobby-pins and hairspray until you have the tightness you want.
- And now for Step 6! Brush your ponytail to blend it with your natural hair… and you are done! You can style your ponytail as usual, with a curling iron or flat iron, for example. If you want to get creative, you can braid it or make a thick voluminous bun.
